Thought to Reality
I have the thought of death in me
Not wanting to know when mine will be
Imagining leaving my people behind
Why can't I be mentally blind
Trying to avoid thinking
But it comes up more, hopes are sinking
Now seeing how this idea can't be driven away
Priorities of life are in disarray
Sanity hanging on by a thread
The last rational thought of wishing I was dead
Laying down with too many things crossing my mind
I begin to take a breath for the last time
