The perfect boy
is hard to find.
I thought i found him,
but it was all a lie.

He used to make me smile and laugh everyday,
but now all he does is make me cry
and hate him in every single way.

I thought he was perfect,
but how can that be true?
How can somebody be perfect,
when all they do is hurt you?

It's hard to hear him talk about somebody else,
even harder to see him with her,
but what can i do?
He loves her.

I used to be the one he loves,
thats what i used to be
but i am nothing now,
nothing but a long lost memory.

I thought he was my prince charming
my knight in shining armor.
I thought he was my everything,
but he isn't anything.

He used to whisper I love you
every single night,
but now he whispers nothing,
nothing but good night.

He hurt me in many ways,
more than he will ever know,
but its okay,
this lesson has taught me to grow.
