Through the time it took to believe
I lost the one thing I needed the most
Through the time it took to realise
It had vanished into the air like a ghost
Vanished and never to again return
Was that thing that now I long for
The thing for which
I now yearn
It has long gone
Vanished without a blink
Gone like the wind
A ship that will sink
It is magical, mystical
and mysterious
Not a thing to joke about
Others may say it's serious
Once it is lost
It can never be found
A thing lost to the world
That vanishes without a sound.
