Between my sides MAG

Where is my mind?
is it trudging through
the waist-high debris
pointless learning
lost but “getting A's”
legs unable to flee,
anchored by this senseless knowledge
or, it is gliding over
seas of surrealism
contently suspended
between colorful coasts
and as unreachable skyline
does it finally drift into a homely harbor
a sultry scene
floating on sheet-glass turquoise
with no breeze
to steal me from this place,
this place where the soul is sated.
Where is my mind?
a question to be answered with a question
is it in my hat?
or between my sides?

Hello there. I'm not really sure what to say. Except for that I have a bulletin board of clippings of my favorite works from Teen ink, and that this is up there. :) It's incredibly relatable, I feel as though I know exactly what you mean in the first stanza. Keep writing!
