Possibilities MAG
You stood next to me,
and I felt your gaze brush past my neck,
sliding downward to graze my feet.
I just looked out at the crowd,
all their digital lightning bugs
flickering fondly.
You talked to me
and you were too nice,
eyeing my hair in the dark,
your eyes lit up by the sparks between our skin.
I smiled at you, wondering.
I stood on my toes with closed eyes,
letting my heart beat with the audacity
of a homemade drum.
I glowed as the music hit me,
immersed in the simple feeling of your arm
brushing mine,
filling me with possibilities
