Night's basin
Fills to the brim
With thoughts, desires,
And dreams,

While the moon
Smiles upon it.
She is its filler;
Its creator.

We are its swimmers.
Spirits freed
And comforted by
Obscurity.

The water reflects
Images of owls,
Bats,
And black cats,

Contents undulating
Until sunrays
Rudely intrude …
And it all evaporates.

I really like this. I also reeaally hate it when I finally have to wake up from my dreams and have to come back to the world of reality.
