Still It Will Fall
The bird flutters and chirps, but still it will fall
Side by side they fly, twirling up high
Move on, keep going; don’t wait for me.
As they travel along, back and forth they call
They go together, up in the sky
The bird flutters and chirps, but still it will fall
They stop to rest on a branch, and they both stand tall
Soon enough, they continue to fly
Move on, keep going, don’t wait for me.
They soon reach a storm, like a large brick wall
As they fly ever closer, the end draws nigh
The bird flutters and chirps, but still it will fall
They enter the storm, it covers them like a shawl
They fight to keep going, they continue to try
Move on, keep going, don’t wait for me.
One bird soars ahead, the other gives it it’s all
but the first bird turns back, and sees with her eyes
The bird flutters and chirps, but still it will fall
Move on, keep going, don’t wait for me.
