Angel of Darkness Sonnet

Thou art not wise o’ morning star,
Though thou had everything heaven could afford,
Angel of Light, Son of Perdition, thou hath disobeyed the Lord.
For thou, a fallen archangel are,
As Apollyon, Beelzebub or Roaring Lion thou roamest afar.
The only thing that stops thee is a double edged sword,
The Holy Book, The Bible, God’s own word.
Ruler of Darkness unnumbered sins thine heart will mar,
As this world welcomes darkness in.
Searching for lost souls to devour,
Though knowest it is thine hour,
For our earthly World is full of sin.
When Christ returns your time will end,
And this broken world God’s hand will mend.
