Sweet, like sugar
Spring rain breaks
Through heavy winter chains
Blooming flowers
Pop up like
Bright colored candy canes
Butterflies then
Gather round
A multicolored cloud
A pair of wings
For each drop
Of honey suckle's shroud
Memories of
Snow and ice
Melting slowly away
Butterfly rain
Pure delight
Here to greet the new day
