The Sadness

And I thought it would go away
The sadness
That’s what the Doc would say

But now
I’m a rollercoaster inside
And I don’t know how
I can hide
It all

The Sadness
It overwhelms me
As if, there’s no such thing as happiness
And I can’t see
The bright spots

It’s perpetual sorrow
There’s nothing to hope for
From tomorrow
As it penetrates my core

One day
I’m as happy as could be
And I’m thinking it’ll stay
Then I see
I’m wrong

I’m sad and I’m angry
And I’m wearing black
I don’t know me
But I don’t know what I lack
