Beauty
Life may not go perfectly,
But I put strength in what I believe.
Because what's the point in misery,
When all around there's beauty?
Like when I look up in the sky,
I remember those luminous eyes,
All those lost goodbyes,
A best friend that was mine.
And Sam, I hope your resting in peace,
And may God give us the strength,
To see in life what you have seen.
Because some things aren't fair but they just have to be.
You have to hand it to me,
Because I raise my head proudly.
Learned my lessons now it's time to be free.
I had a child on my hip since I was fifteen.
Just walking in my shoes will make your feet bleed.
