Death is Like a Bird

Death is like bird that can no longer fly.
A guitar with no strings,
or a poem without a rhyme.
Death is like a book with all blank pages.
A pen without ink,
or musicals without stages.
Death is like a boat without a sea.
A rope without a knot,
or a door without a key.
Death is like a woman you felt like you've known forever,
crushing your heart to go off with another,
causing tears of sorrow to flow down your face,
Death...is like those dark feelings, you've always wished to erase.
