summer

As spring says it's final goodbyes,
Crickets start to play lullabies,
Stars shine bright every night,
And kids wave their shiny new kites,
Beaches are filled with people galore,
With every topping in every store,
Lemonade is the one,
That gets the job done,
to cool people of in the summer sun,
As the day fades away,
Children stop the play,
with no blankets over their heads,
The pleasant summer winds,
Sing through the night,
As crickets chirp pleasant good nights
