Grass is Cool

Grass is cool
sharp as ice
Dark
crisp
trudging
slices the night
woman's legs brush
ripped jeans
and evident fight
hand clutching metal
a weapon that's seen
fueled might
matted hair sticking
clustering her sight
knees crash
welcoming the ground

Was i right?

Tears drip like rivers
cleansing
the blood
filth
but not the guilt

Hands shake
burrowing in
feeling
the rich soil
love seeping in her skin
making blood boil

I miss you, but

Eyes search
the cool
lifeless
grave

The look
the look

Emotion comes in waves
as her voice
dwindles

Please dont cry. You've done your part. Join me love

Weapon drifts over
begs for her touch

It doesn't hurt, I'm here for you
forever

Ghostly hands
guides hers
in demand
Clutching the trigger
lifting to it's target

Make it all okay darling

Squeeze
fingers curl
it
Knuckles whiten
all
eyes shut
away

Twisted voices
torment
a warm touch

YOU HAVE A CHOICE!

locking embrace
theres no escape
gun thrown
out of reach

Trembling
shaking
rough hands tighten
the face

peering in those eyes
forsaken
weighted with sorrow
his voice not taken

You have a choice

But I've----

Ponders
staring at the grave

He's waiting for me, i know it

Dont let yourself cave
dont trade in
I care
Please,

Squeezed her hand
face in her hair

Stay with me
forget the demands
