Confusion lurks
Beyond the f(x)
When I come upon it
It becomes f(What does this mean?)
The Functions
Bewilder me.
Is it f(9)?
Or f(2)?
It turns out,
I realized,
That wasn’t
The answer.
‘Twas really
If f(x)=2 x,
9
And y really
Equalled 0.75,
Then
x=3.
It’s still difficult.
