The world is spinning
As I crawl out of bed
As I dream of wonders
The world spins on
As my dreams are unsaid
For fear of silly blunders
The world spins on
Wonders kept in my head
I slip further under
The world spins on
But I stand still
Left in the dark
With marvelous ambitions
I stand still
Still missing any mark
From lack of self permission
I stand still
Once at the peak of my arc
Now sliding down without additions
I stand still
And the world spins on
My eyes are opening
But the rest of me is still
