Many strange things happen,
While the entire world is napping,
During the witching hour.

The giants wake and play,
Mermaids swim in the bay,
During the witching hour,

Centaurs gallop and leap,
The kraken feasts in the deep,
During the witching hour.

Dwarves mine gold,
For the leprechauns I’m told,
During the witching hour.

Dragons bellow and roar,
And fire lizards soar,
During the witching hour.

Fairies dance and sing,
And the phoenixes’ cry rings,
During the witching hour.

Griffins soar way up high,
And ghouls moan and cry,
During the witching hour.

The pixies and imps play their mean little jokes,
They torment the goblins they pinch they poke,
During the witching hour.

And if ever one night you don’t go to sleep,
You might just hear the augurey weep,
During the witching hour.

And if you’re ever awake at that hour,
You’ll be captivated by the power,
Of the witching hour.
