The noise splits my ears
I run
Run fast to hide my face
But we both know I can’t escape fate
I fall to my knees
You were once invisible
But now your shadow covers me
It’s not the metal but your eyes
That paralyze
The bullet screams
As I fall you whisper to me
Now you see
See the man I can be
But I will never see
The darkness
Has captured me
