Seat belts fastened
the front wheel comes off the ground
we're headed for the sky
there is no turning around.

The front wheel comes off the ground
the plane is taking off
there is no turning around
all electronics are turned off.

The plane is taking off
we fly higher and higher
all electronics are turned off
because that's the captain's desire.

We fly higher and higher
all passengers remain seated
because that's the captain's desire
until the flight is completed.

All passengers remain seated
and they look out the window
until the flight is completed
at the countryside below.

We look out the window
everything seems so small
in the countryside below
we float endlessly above all.

Everything seems so small
from the plains to the ridges
we float endlessly above all
the lakes, ponds, and bridges.

From the plains to the ridges
the houses look like ants
the lakes, ponds, and bridges
look like puddles at first glance.
