The Game
Three
seconds left.
The sky looked
down
on me
as i prayed
for a miracle.
Two
yards to go,
One
down left.
This was my chance
to prove everyone
wrong, to show
i can become
the best.
All was quiet.
My heart beat
like a drum,
as sweat trickled
down my face.
At that moment.
hike!
I began to run to my left.
The ball soared
into my arms.
Just as I got to the endzone,
i jumped forward
with every ounce
of strength
i had left.
Just then,
Crash!
The whole world
went black,
but the faint
sound of fans
screaming
roared in my ears
louder than ever.
