Dragons,
Fierce,
Fiery,
A symbol of awesome power and strength,
Dragons,
Hatchlings,
Small squawks and squeaks,
A loving mother ,
Protective of her small, innocent brood,
A knight,
Brave,
Courageous,
Wielding sword,
A terrible fight,
Will the young ones keep their mother?
Will they learn to survive?
Or will they be lost?
Will the knight murder a mother for glory?
For fame?
Or will he teach the young ones to be tamed pets?
To dance for entertainment?
A small boy,
Wandering,
Lost,
Searching,
The mother dragon is seen by this boy,
Being dragged away,
Pulled by the victorious knight,
The boy,
He hears the squeaks and squawks,
The hatchlings are found,
The boy and the little dragons,
Playing,
Growing,
Loving each other,
Blind,
Un-knowing of the bitter,
Bloody rivalry between their races.
