Our Nightmare: The Cold War

Another day, another fight
The fiery red sky catches their sight
The sounds of aircraft, in flight.
They look outside, expressing fear
Even the brave, know it's near
Listen to orders, none miss the ear.
What of this ambush do you say?
Will they flee, or will they stay?
All they can do, is dig in and pray.
As they stand, their bodies shaking
Asking "Is this real, or are they faking?"
A nuclear war, in the making.
