What Lies Behind

I can see
that your not talking to me
I wish that I could
cover my eyes
and hide what lies behind
Even if I could
the pain lies inside
and you're to blame
for what lies behind my covered eyes.
You're tricks were not appriciated
I thought I saw you're one and only side
but, there were two
one which I could not see
you're kindness blinded me
and now i pay for it.
To think
I trusted, believed, in you
I thought you'd be there
when I needed you
but, now all I have is what used to
lie behind my covered eyes
