The Angel From My Nightmare

She's there when i'm asleep
but never when i'm awake
she's like the angel from my nightmare
an angel in the sense that I want and need her
to come back to tell me it's ok and to be my guiding light
my nightmare in the sense that she has caused me pain brought me the worst of nightmares
i guess i can't really have an angel so I guess I will be with my angel
my angel from my nightmare
