The Homeless Man
His eyes show pain.
He feels as if he's going insane.
With desire in his words and love in his heart.
He feels as if he's falling apart.
He has tears in his eyes, begging for food.
And looks, and stares, and glares that are rude.
He sits alone on the sidewalk, wanting a new life.
A job, some kids, and maybe a wife.
He feels so alone, he wants to go home.
But his home is a place he can't call his own.
