The dew settles on the spider webs
Glinting in the dawn
Like a basket full of liquid fire
The baby goats frolicked in the
Sea of grass
Learning independence, freedom, and survival skills
Whenever the breath of wind
Licked their face,
They scampered to the safety of their heard
Bellowing out to their mothers
Like scared little mice
When dusk closes the day
The kids get tucked in the
Sun warmed
Ocean of green.
