Blacks and Whites
Blacks are no different from whites.
August 28th, 1955 was a huge fight.
The blacks couldn't show any might.
The whites were in the light.
The whites were in the light.
The blacks had no rights.
Because Emmett Till was trying to fight.
When he was right.
When he was right.
The whites couldn't believe their sight.
On a cold dark night.
Full of strong power and might.
Full of strong power and might.
The cruelty of the whites.
The verdict was not right.
The jury was all white.
The jury was all white.
For the blacks the jury had no sight.
Nothing was fair about that night.
I feel bad for anyone that doesn't have rights!
