I want you to know one thing
It’s a never ending feat
This thing we call life
Has its own set of consequences
For a month has gone by
And you face is no longer here
The sadness surrounds us
Yet the happiness consumes
Concentration on you
Could be a deadly misconception
But to misjudge and lose focus
Will lead only to shame and pity
In the category of love
Its as if you never left
Because our hearts still feel pain
Yet never feel regret
