I step out of the darkness
Into the sun
A new life awaits me
All is not done
A bright smile as bait
It lures me in
We don’t know our fate
It might be too late
I must confess
It all is a great big mess
A jumble of hope
But all is a lie
Back into darkness
My life says good- bye
