the birds are chirping
the sun is shining
the kids are burping
the babies are whining
i walk past a empty house
i wander inside
ah a mouse
just ran by
it smells like death
something is glowing
i cant take a breath
and its going
i go into the basement
i am scared
just for the moment
something is moaning
coming from a chest
i found a key on a toy car roaming
i opened and held my breath
and i still smelled death
