I feel...

By
I feel the anger,
It bubbles deep down.
The furry,
It rises and makes me feel like I will explode

But I worry if I say a word,
They won’t understand.
And maybe,
Just do it again

I feel the happiness,
It makes me shine.
The love he gives,
It makes me want to sing

But I worry if I say a word,
They won’t understand.
They will be mad,
Or they might be sad.

I feel the pressure,
It’s creeping into my gut.
Like a bullet pounding through me,
It makes me feel sick.

But I worry if I say a word,
They won’t understand.
They’ll think I’m a nerd,
I won’t take that chance.
