Creepy, crawly,
Beady eyed
Hairy, 8- legged
black speck
Weaving, spinning
its glossy web
Waiting, watching
for its prey.
Buzzing, zooming
an insect airplane flies by.
SMACK! CRASH!
into the spider’s web.
Click, Click
the spider readies its razor sharp fangs
for its catch of the day.
Panic… CHOMP!
Goodbye fly.
Once again the creepy, crawly, beady eyed, 8-legged, black speck
is victorious.
