Adventure and End
you know someday I'd like to sail the sea
cool breeze and a bluebird sky
tell my all that i need you here tonight
in the spotlight
its the bluebird skies
just today i saw a small bird fly
its open wings as it took the sky
soaring long above the ground
wind whispers to my frown
clock hands turning all around
waiting rooms in the hall
will i see your smile at all?
will i see you at all?
And Someday
I'll sail the open seas
soaring on the waves
just you and me
fair blows the breeze
guiding our way
Far across the Sea
The Wandering Way
take me to a place all green
where there's nothing else
but the sky to see
plenty of room
for me to be free
drink it in
the air so sweet
tumbling weaving with wispy streams
up into the mountain air
climbing up as high as i dare
hoping to catch one last glimpse of you
as you ascent above me
And Someday
I'll sail the open seas
soaring on the waves
just you and me
fair blows the breeze
guiding our way
Far across the Sea
The Wandering Way
white washed room and tumbled people
tears of joy, anger, loss
meet them again at the steeple
no shining words, words of gloss
just a black, cardboard coffin
carrying my lost.
