Bringing the Heat
January 19, 2011
A volleyball in hand,
spikes in my feet.
The serve of the ball,
while a gunshot brings the heat.
Passing and setting
and a finish with a kill.
Crossing the finish line,
gives one such thrill.
We have victory in mind,
and success in spirit.
There is life in the crowd,
Always there to cheer it.
