A quote of my own: "Whenever you feel like you don’t fit in, just remember; it’s not that you don’t belong with everyone else, it’s that you stand out from them all."

I told you it was no concern
If you were to break my heart
Maybe I am stupid
Cupid has stricken me with his love dart

Willingly, I have agreed
That for you, I shall wait
Maybe I am stupid
Twisted, is the destiny of my fate

You struggle to be assured
Of whom it is you desire in life
Maybe I am stupid
Will it be a husband or a wife?

I desperately wish
For this to end
Maybe I am stupid
You change direction, like the wind

It is immensely difficult
To divert my eyes
Maybe I am stupid
Some nights I lay in silent cries

I will hold tight
For just a little bit longer
Maybe I am stupid
By the end of this, I will become stronger

The author's comments:
Personally, I myself am disgusted by this poem. I greatly dislike writing love poems; especially ones like this. However, I do think it is a good poem. Oh, and the forth line of the first and last stanza is supposed to be connected to the fifth line.
