The foliage is washed with dew
Streaks of gold splash the morning sky
Previously slumbered souls react to the fire ball, embellishing
Plumes of heat

Entangled vines unfurl and writhe
Beseeching the heavens for a taste of rain

The earth becomes enveloped in a humid, sun-baked
Womb

The animals rejoice.

The world awakens
