Death in my Stream

imagine
floating along
carelessly
in the arms of your lover
floating
floating
down the stream
light ripples surrond you
now imagine
flying
no falling
none at all
ever
laughter fills your head
all the sweeter things in life caress you like a mother to an infant
this is the best part of life
it is called
death.
