"The greatest thing you'll ever learn is just to love and to be loved in return"

Her fragile face

Like a porcelain doll on the mantle

Painted to be prettier than the stars

Pale as the moon itself

It crumbled to pieces

It was shattered through ans through

Nothing more to gaze at,

Not her pretty self anymore

She never had a perfect personality

Just like the dolls she used to play with

Plastic, dull, lifeless

And easily broken

.

The author's comments:
When I wrote this, I was feeling, fragile lifeless, but I knew in my heart that wasn't me. I was feeling fake and I had to write about it. What I hope people get from this is that there should be more that meets the eye.

This is such a metaphorically stunning piece. <3
