That beautiful golden sun
Bringing light, warmth, and comfort

Slowly seeps down towards the earth

A magical painter in the sky
Mixes hues of yellow and orange
Pink, purple and crimson red
Then, a breathtaking image is created instead

It is bold, bright and passionate
Like a fire in the open sky
The horizon splashed with streaks of pink clouds
The edge of the earth burning its’ last light of day
As the majestic sun peacefully fades away

Those dynamic glowing colors
And that powerful sparkling light
Capture me slowly and silently
It is as much about what I feel as what I can see
It allows the stars to finally become free.
