From the endless days of carefree and laid back,
to the nights of countless fights and anger,
like the Façade of an old building,
i am from hiding bad emotions.

From speeding down the street with my bike,
to watching the drug dealers down the block,
from playing football with the guys,no girls allowed,
to lying and playing with girl's hearts,
i am from a loosing innocents.

Like the sun rising from a dark night,
i am from hope and the bright future,
i am from not giving up,
it is always darkest before the dawn.

Like a giggling baby,
i am from pointless laughter,
random jokes,
stupidity,
and googing off,
I am still a kid.

Ive never made a poem like this before but my english teacher told us to make a "where I am from" poem. I hope this makes people think about how fast life can change as a kid to an adult.
