My inner desires
Hate
Jealousy
And revenge
Bottled up in a jar
Pleasing to come out
No
I fight them
They fight back
I lose
A friend knows
Exactly what I'm going through
He helps
I fight again
I win the war
The inner me
Turns something new
And I live once more
Yet I die again
When I fight back
I renew

I wrote this because I was fighting my insanity because my parents had split. My 1st best friend, a guy, tried his best to help me cope and he shared dark secrets with me. From then on, we helped each other cope with our losses and I regained who I was, a friend, a sister, an aunt, and most of all...I had my best friend to thank because without him, I would have lost it.
