See light at the end of the tunnel,
But the tunnel remains unlit.
See light at the end of the tunnel,
I'd try but I feel I'm unfit.
See light at the end of the tunnel,
But the cars are blocking my way.
See light at the end of the tunnel,
This was not the path portrayed.
See light at the end of the tunnel,
And do whatever it takes.
Let's just hope that your tunnel,
Will never fall and break.
See light at the end of the tunnel,
It sounds so nice and pretty, but
If I can't see the light at the end
I know I'll be swarmed with self pity.
