Like Breathing

As it consumes me I wait
Still then I break
The surface and gasp

I breathe in the air as
The water takes me down again
Eight times this pattern repeats

I catch and carve my opponent
Pushing it behind me
Rotation is key
To keeping me moving forward.

As if the wind is pushing me
I move against my will
I carve almost effortlessly
Always moving forward with speed

I have done this a thousand times
It has become like breathing.
