This is the poem for the people who bring us together.
The ones who touch our hearts.
The ones who never really leave us.

This is the poem for the people who dance with us in the rain.
The ones who laugh with us at nothing at all.
The ones who know what's best for us.

This is the poem for the people
who know us better than anyone else.
The ones who help us search.
The ones that make our hearts whole after they are broken.

This is the poem for the people who have saved us,on more than one occassion.
The ones who save us from ourselves.
The ones who tell us not to do stupid things.
And the ones who join in on those stupid things they didn't talk us out of.

This is a poem for the friends who,
helped us, saved us, laughed with us,
joined us, knew us, loved us, left us, led us,jumped with us,
And were the ones we laughed with
at the twenty year high school reunion about something that happened,
last night.
