You have arrived at your golden slumbers,
as you have lived out all your numbers.
You are finally asleep,
And now I have to take the monstrous leap
And let you go,
And know that one day I will follow.
It's hard for me to believe you are gone,
forever more, for all eons.
And when I wake at dawn,
I will have dreamed of times foregone.
I will always love and miss you,
but for now, I bid you adieu.
