I see
You.
I hear
You,
What
You
Say about me.
You
Think I’m odd.
You
Think I’m a mistake.
You
Think I’m so much different than
You.

You
Think
You
Know who I am.
You
Think I shouldn’t live.

It’s funny. Have
You
Noticed that every other line is about what
You
Think?
Ever wonder what
You
Know?

The author's comments:
I wrote this poem for my brother. He is in Junior High and has autism. Everyday I worry about him, I worry about kids making fun of him or making him feel bad because he's different. I wrote this in the mindset that they need to think about someone other than themselves.
