Blinded by light

Light gives us sight not hope.
Right, this misconception is merely a joke.
Contrary to popular belief,
this merely uncovers the path to unshakable grief.
We will all surely choke.
Please close my eyes so I am not decieved.

Wander around in the dark with me.
Ponder and question universal belief, and you will finally see.
Past the line most dare not cross.
with fear and hope we become intentionally lost.
We will find our way out.
Stay low, keep close, and dont make a sound.

Do not seek the light because you shall perish.
For what cannot be seen you will truely cherish.
