In my room
by my bed
My Teddybear sits day by day
once so loved
now given the shove
poor Teddy, poor Teddy

With me my Teddybear went
but now sad and alone my Teddybear sits
no hugs, no kisses
no love, just wishes
poor Teddy, my poor Teddy

A once so happy bear you once were
but now you sit with a sad blank stare
poor Teddy, poor Teddy

For me you were always there
poor Teddy, poor Teddy
my now lonely Teddybear.

The author's comments:
Have you forgotten your friend?. Mine sits by my bed and one day i couldn't stop thinking about how alone she looked. She used to sleep with me, watch tv with me, go on road trips with me, and now she is demoted to the nightstand. I felt bad for her.
