The sparrow sings sweetly
The sparrow sings sweetly
No one returns his call
No one returns his call
Call the sparrow returns softly,
No one sings his sweetly.

Woods are silent and deep
Woods are silent and deep
Not a single breath stirs
Not a single breath stirs
A silent breath and woods
Not deep stirs are single.

Silver moonlight creeps from above,
Silver moonlight creeps from above,
Lighting up branches with song.
Lighting up branches with song.
Silver creeps above with branches,
Lighting song from moonlight up.

Sweetly moonlight creeps, deep breath.
Sparrow above branches lighting woods.
Sings softly from his silver,
Not one call with stirs.
The song returns, and up.
Are no single a silent?
