I Wait

June 3, 2008
By Anonymous

I wait for the postman, to bring me a letter
I wait for the lord, to give me a prayer
I wait for my friend, to be a bit normal
I wait for the morning, to shine on my face

Why’d you have to go?
Daughter to father,
I don’t know you,
But I still want to,

I wait for the rain that beats on my window pane to stop
I wait for my father to make everything better,
I wait for my mother to come back home,
while I sit alone.
